Well...I didn't. Let's see, where to start. Kathryn is pregnant with a little baby girl who is due at the end of June. Every evening you can see the baby squirm around her stomach, as if an alien was getting ready to pop out.
Tommy is awesome. He is the funnest guy I know. Because I am around during the week, we go on lots of different outings to farms, museums, zoos, etc., that I think a lot of father's don't get to do.
I am still working weekends, which means I feel like I never have enough sleep. (Kathryn, the 7-month's pregnant wife has no pity, since she has to get up 15x a night to go to the bathroom).
We are trying to finish a bunch of different projects before the baby arrives. Building a toy bench/storage box, putting new blinds up, getting rid of furniture, getting new furniture, etc. I hauled a full truck-load to the dump today, and Kathryn is busy posting stuff on ebay and craigslist.
Tommy has been in his "big boy" bed for a month or two now, and while it is adorable that he wakes up in the morning and comes into our room with his arms full of stuffed animals and books to read as soon as he wakes up, sometimes I miss when he would just stay in his crib until we decided to get up. He thinks it's great though, and the discipline threat is that if he makes too much monkey business at bedtime, he will have to sleep in his crib. (So far we haven't had to follow-through with it). It is probably a good thing this threat works though, because in all honesty he is too tall for his crib. He is a whopping 42" now!
He just turned 3 last month, and had a great birthday party at Grandma Lynda's.
There is so much else to write about, but if I don't finish this up I won't have a chance to add a bunch of photos. But just a heads up, these photos are NOT in chronological order. And he gave himself the black eye, when he fell walking down some stair carrying an armful of toys on Christmas eve. He REFUSED to drop a toy to catch himself. What a dork. But until next time...
