Well if you didn't understand the title, both Kathryn and Tommy have pneumonia. On top of Kathryn being VERY pregnant, now she gets to deal with the tiredness, difficulty breathing, coughing, and a Tommy who has all those same symptoms. Tommy of course has been throwing up though. Poor little guy starts coughing so hard that it just all comes up. Yuck!
That has been the most exciting thing that we have been dealing with this week.
Tommy and Kathryn went to a pet parade this morning, where they were able to see a bunch of dogs, cats, rabbits, birds, etc march along through the streets. Tommy want to bring his "pop gun," which is actually one of those cup, and ball on a string Mexican hand games things. (I don't know what they are called but, you would recognize it if you saw it). Anyways the reason he wanted to bring his pop gun, which he learned about from
Peter and The Wolf, was that Kathryn said there would be goats. Last time Kathryn and Tommy saw some goats was at the petting zoo. The silly goats started getting impatient with Kathryn for not feeding them quick enough, so the goats started nibbling on her dress. Well Tommy thought that was NOT ok. So this time he wanted to protect his mommy from the hungry goats.
This last week I cut a bunch of plywood to lay down as a floor in our attic. Since we are trying to make room for the new baby, we are moving a lot of stuff from closets, and the garage to our new useable storage space in the attic. I tell you, when it is warm outside, it is RIDICULOUSLY hot in the attic! Progress is being made though. Little by cough racking little.
I know a blog post isn't complete without some photos, so here are a few.
